We are looking for NSBE Professionals to partner with us to help organize this incredible event.  These volunteers can be from any location in the country, but we have a special need for members of the Dallas/Fort Worth Professionals Chapter and Lockheed Fort Worth Professionals Chapter to help us on the team, particularly local employees of Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Gulfstream, UTC Aerospace, and Bell Helicopter. Session Facilitator

  • Work with the Space SIG Chief Technologist to identify which technical project teams will be present at the SPMM
  • Provide Facilities Coordinator with meeting space and equipment needs of each project team
  • Identify and recruit local subject matter experts to participate in project team sessions as facilitators, team members, or external reviewers
  • Attend SPMM and participate on a project team during the event

Partnerships Coordinator

  • Establish SPMM partnerships with targeted companies
  • Recruit exhibitors to participate in the Space Technology Collaboration and Networking Event and oversee exhibit placement
  • Coordinate financial sponsorship with Houston Space Chapter and NSBE Professionals Finance Chair as appropriate
  • Attend SPMM and participate on a project team during the event

Meals Coordinator

  • Identify local restaurants and caterers for SPMM use
  • Develop menus for SPMM food and beverage events
  • Place orders for catered foods and coordinate delivery and set up
  • Pick up any conference-purchased food

Socials Coordinator

  • Plan/coordinate the Welcome Mixer including Team Icebreakers, Friday and Saturday evening social/networking events, and post-event Sunday Group Lunch
  • Provide attendees with suggestions for the any free evenings

  • Attend SPMM and participate on a project team during the event

Facilities Coordinator

  • Identify facilities and facility capabilities needed to support SPMM activities
  • Make facility reservations and coordinate any needed badging or parking arrangements

Logistics Coordinator

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipping for Space SIG project equipment and SPMM signage
  • Coordinate long-term storage for Dallas-based SPMM materials
  • Oversee set up / take down of all facility spaces used during SPMM

Transportation Coordinator

  • Provide information for SPMM attendee round-trip transportation options from the Dallas airports
  • Develop a transportation plan for attendee travel between the SPMM hotel and SPMM activities and for materials shipping/receiving
  • Identify and secure any transportation assets from partner companies that can be used in support of SPMM activity
  • Attend SPMM and participate on a project team during the event

Marketing and Recruiting Coordinator

  • Create attendee brochures, work/supervisor notification letters, and other materials to promote SPMM attendance
  • Monitor SPMM registration and individually contact Space SIG project team members to request attendance
  • Create and distribute press releases and other media materials to promote SPMM in NSBE and public media
  • Create or locate graphics and other formatting support to improve the look and feel of SPMM printed and electronic materials
